About Me

I am a writer!

There, I’ve finally said the words. And it feels good to say them.

I’ve always loved writing for as long as I can remember. I was the student in high school who didn’t mind the creative writing assignments. Through out my adult years, I would always find myself slipping back to writing when I’d catch a moment of watching people and create a story line from what I’d observed.

I wasn’t much for sharing my writing with people, probably for the simple reason of being worried my writing wasn’t nearly as good as I would think at times. I’ve stepped out of that comfort zone and have started to share my writing with the world. (At least the people who want to read it or stop by, that is.)

I’ve had great encouragement and feedback during this fairly new journey.

I’m ready to keep breaking out of my comfort zone and start going for dreams we as writer’s share.

I’ve learned to say, “I am a writer.” Leave the aspiring out of it because here you are, actually doing it.

I’m glad I found your blog. It is daunting to put yourself out there, isn’t it?

    PS. I like your design!

Good for you for saying it out loud! It’s hard being so vulnerable, isn’t it? I’ve recently started a new blog to put myself out there as a writer instead of hiding behind being a mother, wife, friend…so I totally get how it feels to say I am a writer and using an exclamation point! Good luck to you!

      You are so right.
I’m just now at a point where I talk more about my writing to friends, sharing some of my work. It does make you feel vulnerable.
Thank you so much and I wish you luck as well.
